Shay Mitchell has officially joined ABC’s put pilot, The Heiresses.

Only a week after The Perfectionists announcement, THR reports that Shay will joined the I. Marlene King produced series.

The show is also based on a book from Sara Shepard.

The Heiresses is a family soap with a mystery twist, set in the diamond world. The Saybrooks are a household name. They have been blessed with great fortune, but cursed with epic loss. The events surrounding a deadly crash a year ago drove a wedge between the once-inseparable diamond empire heiresses.

But when an unspeakable tragedy brings the cousins back together, they create a truly unbreakable bond. They set to solve the mystery of who wants the Saybrook family dead before one of them is the next target.

No word on Shay‘s exact role, but we’re so excited about this!

Think of Shay Mitchell‘s new project, You, as Pretty Little Liars 2.0.

The actress chatted with ET about the new thriller Lifetime series, calling it juicy.

“It still has all those elements that PLL had with it being sort of a mystery, there’s a romance part to it and it’s just exciting,” Shay says.

She continues, “It’s definitely going to have those elements. I think it’s a little bit more mature…It deals with a lot of crazy things like PLL did, but it’s a different storyline.”

“If you loved PLL, you’re gonna absolutely love You. And if you never saw PLL, you’re still going to love You.”

Not like we weren’t going to be watching before, but after this, we’ll definitely be watching.
